POSSIBLE VEHICLE FIRE ON HIGHWAY

Station 8 was dispatched this evening for the report of a tire fire on a box truck in the north bound lane
of Route 15 near the Route 49 interchange. Engine 8-3, Engine 8-2, Patrol 8-4, and Ambulance 8-6 all responded. Units checked
the area of the interchange with nothing found. Units then split up with E8-3 heading south and E8-2 heading north to check
the area. After a thorough investigation, nothing was located and all units returned to quarters.
ASSIST TO MVC WITH CONFINEMENT
11/12/13 0905hrs
Stations 18 (Nelson) and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched to Farmington Township on the Elkhorn Road for a vehicle
crash. Chief 18-20 (Shaw) arrived on scene and reported 1 patient still confined to the vehicle. A request was made to redispatch
Station 7 and add Station 8 for a rescue. Rescue 8-8 responded with a crew of 5. Upon arrival, the patient was being accessed
by crews on scene through a cut out windshield. R8-8s crew assisted with removing the patient and packaging for EMS. Units
remained on scene before clearing at 0939 hours.
CAR INTO GUIDERAIL
11/10/13 1854hrs
Station 8 was alerted to a single vehicle MVC on Route 49 near the Boom Station Road in Lawrence Township.
Rescue 8-8, Ambulance 8-6, Engine 8-2, and Chief 8-10 (Hackett) responded. C8-10 arrived and reported a vehicle into a guiderail
with no injuries were reported. Rescue 8-8 arrived and secured the vehicle and checked for hazards. Units remained on scene
to assist PSP and cleared shortly after.
VEHICLE FIRE IN THE FIELD
11/06/13 1528hrs
Lindley FD was dispatched to a piece of farm machinary on fire in the middle of a field off of County Route
115 in Lindley. Upon arrival of Chief 26 (Mcfall) with Engine 89, he found that the field was also involved and requested
E8-3 dispatched to assist. Station 8 was then dispatched to assist mutual aid. Shortly after, Chief 8-10 (Hackett) contacted
C26 and was advised that Tanker 29 had arrived and E8-3 was to hold in station. E8-3 stood by with a crew for approximately
30 minutes while Lindley units conducted mop up on scene.
TREE DOWN IN ROADWAY

Station 8 was dispatched this morning for a reported tree in the roadway on East Lawrence Road in Lawrence
Township. Squad 8-18 responded and was notified that another member from Lawrenceville had arrived and removed the tree from
the roadway. All units were recalled at 0749 hours.
