REAR END COLLISION IN THE TWP
11/22/11 1642hrs
Station 8 was dispatched this evening to a 2 vehicle crash on Route 287 near the Buckwheat Hollow Road in
Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2, Ambulance 8-6, and Chief 8 responded. Chief 8 arrived and reported 2 vehicles blocking the
roadway with no injuries. Units remained on scene to assist PSP and the towing service and returned at 1717 hours.
RESIDENTIAL AUTO FIRE ALARM
11/18/11 1906hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were alerted this evening for a automatic fire alarm on the East Lawrence Road
in Lawrence Township. Chief 8-20 (Ransom) arrived and reported nothing showing and requested to hold all units. A check of
the building was completed and determined to be a faulty alarm. All units cleared at 1920 hours.
ROLLOVER CRASH
11/18/11 0620hrs
Station 8 was dispatched with Lindley FD on the Ryers Creek Road in Lindley, NY for a vehicle rollover.
Engine 8-2 (C810) with 3 responded. Chief 26-01 (Hill) was notified by Stueben 911 that PD was on scene and the patients were
self extricated with possibly no injuries. C26-01 then issued a recall for all Lawrenceville units at 0631 hours.
SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH ON RTE 49
11/17/11 2026hrs
Stations 8 and 18 (Nelson) were dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Route 49 near the intersection of
Gee Hollow Road in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2 (C820) with 3, Squad 8-18 (Capt 8) with 3, and Ambulance 8-6 responded. E8-2 and
E18-3 arrived on scene and reported a vehicle off the roadway with one injury. Squad 8-18 was assigned traffic control as
the nearby bridge had icey conditions. EMS transported the patient and units remained on scene to assist PSP.
VEHICLE CRASH IN LINDLEY
11/14/11 1057hrs
Station 8 was dispatched with Lindley FD to the Clendenning Creek Road for a vehicle rollover with possibly
one injury. Law enforcement arrived and reported to Chief 26-01 (Hill) that the patient was out of the vehicle and uninjuried.
C26-01 requested a recall of Station 8.
VEHICLE ROLLOVER IN TIOGA TWP
11/13/11 1529hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched to a vehicle rollover on Route 287 near the Tioga/Lawrence Township
line. Chief 7 (Preston) arrived and reported the incident in Tioga Township with a vehicle off the road into a field. Engine
8-2, Squad 8-18, and Ambulance 8-6 all responded. E8-2 went to work with crews from 7 on packaging the patient and bringing
up the embankment to EMS. Squad 8-18 set up traffic signage on the north end. Units awaited on scene to assist PSP and Wheelers
Towing before clearing at 1646 hours.
VEHICLE FIRE ON TIOGA RIVER ROAD
11/12/11 2144hrs
Station 8 was alerted for the report of a vehicle fire on the Tioga River Road in LawrenceTownship. Engine
8-2, Engine 8-3, and Chief 8-20 (Ransom) responded. E8-2 arrived and advanced the trash line to knock down the fire. E8-3
connected for water supply. The fire was called out at 2213 hours.
NON EMERGENCY TRAFFIC CONTROL
11/10/11 1105hrs
Station 8 was dispatched by request of Lawrence Township PD for traffic control at a disabled vehicle on
Route 328 in Lawrence Township. The tow service arrived and Station 8 was cancelled at 1110 hours.
RESCUE ASSIST WITH LINDLEY
11/08/11 0748hrs
Station 8 was dispatched this AM to the Engle Road in Lindley, NY for a land rescue with an indivdual over
an embankment. Engine 8-2 and Squad 8-18 responded. Lindley command reported the patient brought up to the roadway and Station
8 was recalled.
VEHICLE CRASH ON ROUTE 328
11/01/11 2107hrs
Station 8 fire and EMS were dispatched this evening to Route 328 in Lawrence Township for a single vehicle
crash with possibly one injury. Chief 8-30 (Windows) arrived and reported that the vehicle struck a deer and the roadway was
clear. Engine 8-2 (Capt 8) with 3, Squad 8-18 (C820) with 3, and Ambulance 8-6 all responded. Units arrived
and assessed for injuries and vehicle hazards. All units cleared at 2143 hours.
