Station
8 was alerted this afternoon to multiple trees down in the area. While standing by in station from a previous incident, units
began to receive notifications of trees down on Main Street in Lawrenceville Borough. Chief 8 responded and advised that 2
trees had fallen into the roadway and blocked a lane of travel. Squad 8-18 responded to Main Street and cleared
the roadway. Additional reports of a tree down on the Tioga River Road and Skyview Lane were also checked by C8, but
referred to the electric company due to wires being involved. Patrol 8-4 was sent to Cross Street in the borough to find a
tree on wires. P8-4 closed Cross Street and utilities were notified. Units worked for approximately 2 hours investigating
and cleaning up before returning to station.
AUTO FIRE ALARM AT HMAC
06/24/13 1550hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched to the HMAC facility in Lawrence Township for the report of
an automatic fire alarm. Engine 8-3, Engine 8-2, and Chief 8-10 all responded. While responded, units were advised by 911
that work was being done on the sprinkler system and it was a possible false alarm. C8-10 arrived and confirmed with a supervisor
that it was a false activation and all units were cancelled.
LZ FOR CLYMER AMB & GUTHRIE AIR

Station 8 was dispatched this evening to assist Clymer Ambulance and Guthrie Air at the HMAC LZ. Stations
5 (Westfield) and 16 (Clymer) were operating on a single vehicle crash into the guiderails in Westfield Township. They requested
a helicopter and started to head east. Engine 8-3, Squad 8-18, and Ambulance 8-7 all responded. E8-3 setup the LZ and assisted
EMS with loading into the patient into the helicopter.
TWO VEHICLE MVC AT ROUTES 287/328
06/22/13 0919hrs
Station 8 was alerted this morning for a 2 vehicle MVC at the intersection of Route 287 and 328 in Lawrence
Township. Engine 8-2 and Squad 8-18 both responded. Chief 8-60 (Button) was the original caller as he was at a nearby
gas station when it occured. E8-2 arrived and did a quick check over recieving a report from C8-60 of no injuries. Units set
up traffic control while PSP investigated and assisted the tow service with cleanup.
VEHICLE OVER EMBANKMENT
06/21/13 2230hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched to an unknown location on the Tioga River Road for a vehicle
crash with unknown injuries. Engine 8-2, Ambulance 8-6, Squad 8-18, and Chief 8-60 responded. Chief 7-10 (Bates) arrived in
the area of "Meeker Hill" on the Tioga River Road and reported a vehicle off the roadway. Units arrived and two patients were
reported. A7-6 and A8-6 transported and fire units cleared the scene at 2340 hours.
CAR CARRIER FIRE ON ROUTE 15
06/19/13 0816hrs
Station
7 (Tioga) was alerted at 0806 hours for the report of a vehicle fire. Due to manpower issues, Station 8 was dispatched at
0816 hours. Engine 8-3 and Squad 8-18 responded. Tankers from Mansfield and Lindley were also requested by responding Chief
7-20 (Marbaker) Upon arrival, E8-3 as the first due engine and discovered that the vehicle was the rear trailer of a car carrier
with 6 vehicles fully involved. The trashline was stretched and the deck gun placed into service to provide a quick knockdown.
A second handline was also pulled for fire extinguishment. Engine 7-3 and Tanker 2-5 arrived and provided water to E8-3 during
the attack. Crews worked for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to fully extinguish the blaze. The roadway remained shut
down for an extended amount of time for cleanup.
POSSIBLE STRUCTURE FIRE
06/19/13 0015hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were alerted to Box 8-04 in the area of the Wheeler Road in Lawrence Township for
a possible structure fire. A passer-by in the area reported fire on the hillside. Engine 8-3 with 5 and Chief 8-10 (Hackett)
responded. C8-10 arrived in the area and held all units while he continued to investigate the situation. It was found
to be a controlled burn visable from the roadway. All units where then recalled at 0027 hours.
HELICOPTER ASSIST FOR TIOGA AMB
06/15/13 1603hrs
Station 8 was alerted to assist Guthrie Air and Tioga Ambulance at the HMAC LZ in Lawrence Township.
Squad 8-18 had assisted Tioga A7-6 with QRS on scene of a medical call in Lawrence Township before being called back
out to assist the helo. Squad 8-18 with a crew of 3 responded to assist. The setup the LZ with cones and assisted with loading
the patient. The squad cleared at 1644 hours.
VEHICLE INTO THE GUARDRAILS
06/15/13 0132hrs
Station 8, 7 (Tioga), and 26 (Lindley) were all dispatched to Route 15 near the Lawrenceville exit for the
report of a vehicle into the guardrails with unknown injuries. Chief 8-10 (Hackett) arrived and reported no injuries and PSP
on scene. The vehicle was pulled from the roadway and units remained on scene while PSP investigated.
MUTUAL AID FIRE IN MIDDLEBURY TWP
06/08/13 1315hrs
Stations 11 (Middlebury) and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched on a first alarm assignment to a reported structure
fire on Sugarbush Road in Middlebury Township. A second alarm was soon requested bringing units from 8, 1 (Wellsboro), and
2 (Mansfield). Engine 8-3 and Engine 8-2 both responded. Both engines arrived and were assigned as tankers while the manpower
went to work at the scene. Chief 8-10 (Hackett) led the crew in assisting with fire extinguishment on scene while E8-2 and
E8-3 shuttled water. Units worked on scene for approximately 4 hours before declaring the fire out.
The home that was involved belonged to FF/EMT Darren Heck of Wellsboro Fire & EMS. Their home was totally

MOTORCYCLE / DEER MVC

Station 8 was dispatched today with Lindley FD for the report of a motorcycle into a deer crash. It was
reported as one injury with a helicopter on standby. Engine 8-2 with a crew of 3 responded. The engine crew arrived and assisted
Lindley FD and Rural Metro Ambulance with packaging the patient for transport.
