VEHICLE FIRE IN A BUILDING

Station 8 was alerted with Station 7 (Tioga) this afternoon for a first alarm assignment to Endless View Lane in Tioga Township. It was reported as a vehicle fire within a structure. Chief 7-20 (Bates) arrived and reported no fire and requested a recall of all units at 1636 hours.

ASSIST FOR LIFENET 7-7 AND A7-16

Station 8 was dispatched this evening to assist Lifenet 7-7 and Tioga Ambulance 7-16 at the HMAC landing zone in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-3 responded with a crew of 4 and Chief 8 (Strange) responded direct. Upon arrival, E8-3s crew set the landing zone and later assisted with loading the patient into the aircraft. All units cleared at 2038 hours.

CRASH #2 - MAIN STREET IN THE BORO

Station 8 was alerted for a vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Street and Cowanesque Street in Lawrenceville Borough. Chief 8-10 (Scott) arrived and reported the roadway open with possibly 2 injuries. Chief 8-20 (Ransom) arrived and began to assess patient status. Ambulance 8-6, A8-7, and Engine 8-2 responded. Upon arrival, E8-2 went to work to secure the vehicles and assist EMS with packaging. All units remained on scene until 1805 hours.

CRASH #1 - OUT IN THE TOWNSHIP

Chief 8 (Strange) requested Station 8 dispatched this morning to a 2 vehicle crash on the Station Road in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2 with a crew of 3, Ambulance 8-6 with 2, and Chief 8-10 (Scott) responded. Upon arrival, crews were notified of no injuries or hazards and E8-2 was assigned traffic control. EMS checked out the patients and all units cleared at 1133 hours.

TREE DOWN IN ROADWAY

Station 8 was alerted this afternoon for a tree in the roadway on the Buckwheat Hollow Road in Lawrence Township. Chief 8-10 and Engine 8-3 was on the air with crew at the Laurel Festival Parade in Wellsboro. A crew assembled at the station but without a driver for the squad. FF J. Burrows and Lawrence Twp PD responded and handled the situtation. Units cleared at 1605 hours.

Station 8 was dispatched this evening for EMS and Engine for an ATV crash on the Cook Road in Lawrence Township. Ambulance 8-6 and Chief 8 (Strange) responded to the scene; Chief 8-20 (Ransom) and Engine 8-3 and a crew of 5 with Chief 8-10 (Scott)  responded to the HMAC LZ. E8-3s crew established the LZ for Lifenet 7-7 and assisted EMS with loading. All units cleared at 2054 hours.

DRIVER FLEES EARLY AM CRASH

Station 8 was dispatched this morning for a report of a vehicle into a pole on Route 328 in Lawrence Township. Chief 8-10 (Scott) arrived and reported a pickup truck into a pole at the intersection of Routes 328 and 287 with no one around the vehicle. Engine 8-2 arrived and secured the vehicle and contained a small oil leak. All units cleared at 0517 hours.

Station 8 was alerted this morning for a full response to 524 Buckwheat Hollow Road in Caton, NY. Engine 8-3 with 5 with Chief 8-10, Engine 8-2 with 3, and Chief 8-20 all responded. Upon arrival the crews went to work and the apparatus was used for water shuttle. The crews assisted with fire suppression and was able to use the new imager for the first time. A total of 11 members from Station 8 assisted on scene until returning at 1154 hours.

E8-3 MUTUAL AID TO A VEHICLE FIRE

Engine 8-3 was dispatched early this morning to a mutual aid vehicle fire in Tioga Township on Route 15 in the north bound lane. Stations 2 (Mansfield) and 7 (Tioga) were on the first alarm for a tractor trailer fire. Chief 2 (Welch) responded and was notified that the trailer had fire involvement. C-2 then requested Super Engine 8-3. Upon arrival if C-2, he requested a tanker from Station 4 (Blossburg) and reported a working fire in the front portion of the trailer. E8-3 responded and was sent to staging. Shortly after, the engine crew was requested to the scene to assist. E8-3 remained on scene until returning at 0337 hours. All together, E7-2, E7-3, E2-1, T2-5,and E8-3 worked at the fire. T4-5 stood by at Station 2.

Station 8 was dispatched this afternoon to assist with traffic control on Route 49 in Nelson Township. Stations 3 (Elkland) and 18 (Nelson) were already dispatched. Nelson Twp PD arrived and requested 8 be dispatched to shut down Route 49 and Barney Hill Road. Squad 8-18 responded with a crew of 4. Upon arrival, the Squad was requested to report to the scene to assist PD with clean up of the roadway. The squad remained on scene until returning at 1300 hours.
