CHIMNEY FIRE ON STATE LINE ROAD
12/18/13 1942hrs
Stations 8, 18 (Nelson), and 26 (Lindley) were dispatched to a residence on the State Line Road in Lawrence
Township for the report of a chimney fire with unknown extension. Chief 8, Patrol 8-4, Engine 8-3, and Ambulance 8-6 all responded.
Chief 8 arrived and reported nothing showing. The resident had extinguished the fire in the stove and P8-4s crew disassembled
the setup. E8-3s crew scanned the wall with the TIC for any extension. Units remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes
before returning to the station.
2 VEHICLE MVC ON ROUTE 15
12/17/13 0924hrs
Stations 7 (Tioga), 8, and 26 (Lindley) were dispatched this morning to Route 15 north bound in Tioga Township
for a 2 car MVC with injuries. Rescue 8-8 and Ambulance 8-6 responded. R8-8 arrived and received orders to slow traffic
prior to the crash scene. Ambulance 8-6 was cancelled due to minor injuries. R8-8 continued to assist with traffic control
until the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
ASSIST STATION 7 WITH A SEARCH
12/11/13 1358hrs
Stations 8 and 11 (Middlebury) were dispatched mutual aid to assist Station 7 (Tioga) in searching for a
missing person in the area of Lake Street in Tioga Township. Prior to any units responding, the person was located and a recall
was issued.
MONDAY NIGHT DRILL - 12/02
12/02/13
Monday night drill consisted of two events this week. The first was EMS related and included a
review of the KED. The KED was applied and the indivduals were removed from the vehicle and placed on a backboard.
FF Michael Baker was given the "strap test" on the backboard. The second part was a challenge event for the members. They
were all timed during a race to put on all of their turnout gear fully and correctly under 1 minute. All members were able
to do so without trouble.
