POSSIBLE FUEL
LEAK

1400hrs Station 8 was alerted this afternoon
for a HAZMAT call at the Exxon on Route 49 in Lawrence Township. A report of gasoline leaking from an RV was given. Chief
8 (Scott) arrived and located the RV in the rear parking lot. It was determined that no leak was present from the vehicle
and that it was caused by the over filling during fueling. All units were recalled.
AUTO FIRE ALARM
08/13/14 2007hrs Stations 8
and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched this evening to the Laurel Health Center on East Lawrence Road in Lawrence Township for an automatic
fire alarm. Chief 8-10 (Hackett) arrived and reported nothing showing. Engine 8-3 responded and Station 7 was recalled. E8-3
called on scene and the crew continued a secondary check for any fire conditions as they awaited the key holder. One inside,
it was determined it was a faulty activation and all units cleared the scene.
VEHICLE CRASH ON ROUTE 15 LINDLEY
08/07/14 0638hrs Stations 8,
7 (Tioga), and 26 (Lindley) were dispatched to a reported MVC on Route 15 just south of the state line. Rescue 8-8 responded
with a crew of 5. R8-8 responded north bound and was unable to locate anything. As they continued north, a vehicle in
the median was located approximately 1 mile north of the border. Rescue 8-8 called on scene and checked for injuries. The
operator was found to be self extricated and not injured. Chief 26-01 (Hill) and Lindley Engine 89 arrived. Traffic control
was established as the tow service removed the vehicle.
MUTUAL AID TO SHED FIRE

08/04/14 1921hrs
Stations 12 (Millerton) and 13 (Daggett) were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 3000 block
of East Lawrence Road in Jackson Township. A unit from 12 arrived and reported a fully involved fire and a second alarm was
requested. Station 8 was dispatched and Engine 8-3, Squad 8-18, and Ambulance 8-6 responded. As E8-3 approached the scene,
command reported the fire under control and requested all second alarm departments recalled. E8-3 called on scene and stood
by to assist. The crew provided manpower for overhaul and supplied Engine 12-2 with water. All units cleared the scene
at 2022 hours.
