1 VEHICLE ROLLOVER MVC

Station 8 was dispatched this evening for a rollover vehicle crash on Route 287 in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2 with a crew of 2 with Chief 8-10 (Short) responded; Chief 8-20 (Scott), and Chief 8-30 (Windows) responded direct. Upon arrival of C820, it was reported as 1 vehicle off the roadway on its roof with the occupant self extricated. E82 arrived and secured the vehicle and EMS checked out the patient. All units remained on scene until the vehicle was removed then returned to quarters.

Station 8 was alerted this afternoon to set up an landing zone at HMAC in Lawrence Township for Life Flight 1 and Valley Ambulance 25-6. A25-6 and Station 18 (Nelson) were at a vehicle/pedestrian accident on Route 49 in Nelson Township and requested the helicopter to be sent to HMAC LZ. E8-3 responded with a crew of 4 with Chief 8-20(Scott) and Chief 8-30 (Windows) responded direct.  E8-3's crew set up the LZ and assisted the crew with loading the patient into the ship.

MUTUAL AID MVC IN LINDLEY

Station 8 was dispatched this evening mutual aid to a 2 car MVC on Route 15 in Lindley at the Morgan Creek intersection. Chief 8-10 (Short), and Engine 8-2 with C8-20 (Scott) responded. Chief 8-10 arrived and reported 2 vehicle off the road with 3 BLS injuries all out of the vehicle. E8-2 was the first apparatus on scene due to the access bridge being closed for construction off the River Road near Station 26 (Lindley). Lindley units arrived and the scene was turned over. E82 was then requested by Chief 26-01 (Hill) to assist law enforcement with a tractor-trailer that had smoke coming from the rear trailer brakes. E82 arrived and assessed the problem as mechanical and turned the scene over to Lindley and returned to quarters. **D-8 is responding first due to any incident on US Route 15 and west due to the extended ETA of Lindley units reaching the scene because of the construction.**

Station 8 was alerted this morning to a Box 11-03 for a mutual aid structure fire in Middlebury Township on the Bache Road with Stations 7 (Tioga) and 11 (Middlebury). E8-3 was due on the 2nd alarm along with Stations 1 (Wellsboro),17 (Chatham), 18 (Nelson), R2-8 w/ Air Trailer (Mansfield). E8-3 responded with a crew of 5 with Chief 8 (Strange) and Chief 8-20 (Scott). E8-3 was recalled prior to arriving as Middlebury Command had reported the building on the ground and cancellation of all 2nd alarm departments.

Chief 8 (Strange) conducted water supply training for the young recruits this evening. Chief Strange went over the basics with hitting the hydrant, setting up a tanker fill site, and setting up a rural water supply.

FIRST CALL OF MONTH - MVC

Station 8 was dispatched this evening to a 3 car MVC on Route 15 in Lindley. Chief 8 (Strange), Chief 8-10 (Short), and Engine 8-2 all responded. Prior to arrival of C8, it was reported by Lindley E89 as no injuries and slow all incoming units. D-8 units arrived and were put back into service.
